Open Access Journal
The Law is an open access journal as per The Directory Of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) definition: We define these as journals where the copyright holder of a scholarly work grants usage rights to others using an open license (Creative Commons or equivalent) allowing for immediate free access to the work and permitting any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose.
Therefore, the contents of The Law are freely available, not being charged, to the readers/bibliophiles and/or institutions. Readers are allowed to read/download/copy/distribute/print/search or link to the full texts of the articles and/or use them for any other legal purpose. There is no need to seek the prior permission of the publisher or the author in this regard. However, references/citing/crediting the article/author/journal as recommended by COPE’s Codes of Conduct and Guidelines/Practices are encouraged.
Open Archive Policy
All the contents of The Law are Open Archive. The Journal follows an Open Archive Policy for copyright and licensing. If researchers are using or reproducing contents from this Journal, they need to appropriately cite the author(s)/articles(s)/Journal name.
Archiving Declaration
The Law follows the self-archiving of accepted and published papers because of an open access policy. Authors retain the copyright of their work and can archive pre-print and post-print or publisher’s version/PDF to personal or institutional repositories or libraries without requiring permission from the journal.
